The Basis Amal Association of Kelaat Sraghna presented the results of its three initiatives: the Youth Ambassadors for Tolerance Program, the Youth Ambassadors Against Hate Speech 2.0 Program, and the Common Citizenship Project (CCP).
The visit took place in Rabat, where the KAICIID team launched its first field visit this year as part of the Dialogue Projects Program. The visit was dedicated to monitoring and evaluating the initiatives implemented since the launch of the Dialogue Projects in 2020 and closely examining their results and impact on individuals and communities.
During the visit, the partners presented their various initiatives, which addressed key themes such as youth engagement, women's empowerment, citizenship education, and combating hate speech. This evaluation provided an opportunity to measure practical impacts and identify ways to develop the initiatives in the future.
The visit also served as a launchpad for a series of field visits planned for 2025, aimed at joint learning, exchanging experiences, and strengthening cooperation with KAICIID partners in Morocco. The initiatives launched by the Basis Al Amal Association are the result of collaboration with the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports in Kelaat Sraghna and the Youth and Shuar Council, with financial support from KAICIID. As a result, the association received an Encouragement Award as part of the Intercultural Achievement Award from the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs for 2023.
