For the first time in Agadir, the Al Safaa Association for Environment and Development organized the "Nasa Space Apps" hackathon in direct coordination with NASA and with the support of the international organization "Earth Guardians." This international competition aimed to find scientific and practical solutions to current climate challenges, utilizing NASA's database. Held from October 15th to 24th, 2025, the hackathon, organized at the Agadir Technopark, brought together nearly 90 young men and women in the fields of application programming and artificial intelligence. At the end of the hackathon, the judging panel announced the winners: two outstanding teams. The grand prize went to the WEBMA team, and second place was awarded to the CRRT team.

The hackathon began with its first inspiring workshop: "Exploring the Universe," which offered participants a unique opportunity for an interactive experience into the depths of space. Under the guidance of astronomy content creator Mohamed Amine Zouhri, participants explored the secrets of the universe in an engaging way, utilizing digital tools and technologies provided by NASA. These tools allowed them to travel between galaxies and contemplate the vastness of space from a new perspective.

The workshop left a lasting impression on the participants, igniting a spark of scientific curiosity and giving this hackathon a distinctive launch characterized by innovation, knowledge, and exploration.
