In New York, at the United Nations headquarters, the 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women was held. This year coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, which laid out a roadmap for women's empowerment. Discussions at the session will focus on reviewing and evaluating the implementation of the Beijing Declaration. Within this framework, seminars and meetings will be held on the status of women in the world. The Challenge Association for Equality and Citizenship participated in a workshop on the topic: Global Women's Networks and Their Role in Advocating for Equality and Citizenship.
